This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. A valid driver's license issued by the State where the applicant resides and insurability as defined in UTS 157 may be required to perform the position's essential functions.Purpose of PositionThe position performs advanced accounting and clerical tasks with a high degree of autonomy, supporting Facilities Management. The role requires initiative and independent judgment.Essential FunctionsManage and reconcile employee time records, verify overtime reports, and ensure accurate, timely payroll submissions.Analyze and validate employee leave information across systems, and provide various reports as needed.Create purchase requisitions in CMMS and university purchasing systems, audit invoices, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor payment progress.Handle reconciliations for ProCards, Voyager cards, and process payment vouchers; manage non-PO vouchers, travel reimbursements, and deposits.Reconciles the ProCards and Voyager cards for Facilities Management card holders and processes payment vouchers.Oversee long-distance call statement reviews and reporting.Provide training and support to staff within areas of responsibility.Work closely with accounts payable, purchasing, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure accuracy in systems.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.Complies with all State and University policies.Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
