The Role

Housekeeping Lead – Hospital (Overnight)
Location: Inglewood, CA
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $25.70 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping Lead to support overnight environmental services operations at a hospital in Inglewood. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors.


WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Lead and support overnight housekeeping staff to ensure all areas meet hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and provide on-the-job guidance and support

  • Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces

  • Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE in compliance with hospital and safety regulations

  • Report maintenance issues, supply needs, and staffing concerns to management

  • Serve as a point of contact during the overnight shift and help resolve issues as they arise


What It Takes To Be Successful
  • Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of infection control, sanitation practices, and safety standards

  • Strong communication, reliability, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work overnight hours and be on your feet for extended periods
