HVAC Technician IUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe HVAC Technician is responsible for the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of all heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems and ventilation systems for UIW facilities. Position reports to the HVAC Supervisor.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Have good working knowledge of commercial HVAC & refrigeration equipment.• Able to use applications on a computer to document setting and findings.• Able to communicate effectively with others as well as work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisory staff at all levels and UIW community to establish and maintain harmonious relations and work environment• Able to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required Education8th grade education.Required Work ExperienceThree (3) years of HVAC experience.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations• C.F.C.
