Intern HR Data Analyst (open to major office locations in Montana & South Dakota)

Intern HR Data Analyst

Work Location: Open for major locations in Montana and South Dakota Service Territory

Pay range: 18.00 - $19.00/hour (first year interns $18.00/hour, returning interns $19.00/hour)

Employment Status: Temporary (May - August full-time, 40 hours per week)

(September - December part-time, up to 20 hours per week)

About this position:

Provide general support for ongoing analyst duties including tracking, auditing, reporting, and interpreting various HR employment data. Specific project assignments are expected to include developing, and automating dashboards for Human Resource compliance reporting requirements, and to configure, test, and enable succession functionality within the company's performance system.

  • Data analysis using excel, SAP, and other platforms and databases

  • Scorecard automation using macros or bots in collaboration with Business Technology
  • Coordinating with Internal and external resources to accomplish data mapping and transfer
  • Participate in organizational work meetings
  • Design, Tableau, or SAP experience a bonus

  • Data Science, Human Resources or other Business information management related degree path required
  • Student must have completed Sophomore level or higher by start date

  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and computer technology skills
  • Self-starter who pursues self-education and is data focused
  • Exhibit an enthusiasm for the utility industry, introducing and educating customers on the industry
