Job Summary

The University of Kentucky, College of Nursing Undergraduate Program is seeking a Lecturer Title Series (tenure-ineligible) Lecturer. This position is a 9-month appointment with an anticipated Distribution of Effort of about 90% Teaching and Advising, and 10% Service/Professional Development which will be reviewed annually. We anticipate a start date of January 1, 2026, but not later than March 1, 2026.

This position, onsite and based in Lexington, KY, will assist and resource the Undergraduate BSN program within the College of Nursing. This position requires an individual to provide teaching, advising, and mentoring of undergraduate students enrolled in the BSN program. This lecturer position requires skills lab instruction: teaching fundamental and advanced nursing skills, supervision of nursing students in simulated settings, advising students, involvement in college committees; possible clinical practice and scholarship, and membership in professional organizations.

Ideal applicants will have experience teaching BSN students in one or more of the following core curricular areas of adult health nursing: health assessment, health promotion, medical-surgical nursing or pathopharmacology.
