How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
The Global AR Digital Product Management team is looking for a talented and driven software Senior Product Manager to lead the transformation of Account Receivable capabilities for the Core Card Platforms and help us build our next generation of technology assets.
The role will lead Product Discovery, understanding the ‘who’, ‘why’, ‘what’ in collaboration with a multitude of cross functional product and engineering stakeholders to define requirements, and write features with clear & measurable acceptance criteria. We are looking for someone with great business acumen, a love of technology, and product management skills.
You will be working with our US Consumer and Small business markets, to understand and support the definition and documentation of the Roadmap, Product Vision, mapping user stories to the needs of the business and ensuring product delivery meets the business need. You will work with one or more scrum teams, align with other Product Owners/Managers, Delivery Managers, Solution Architects and Engineers across the globe to refine the features, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate to deliver on Global Accounts Receivable initiatives.
Specifically for this role,
• Candidate will be working with multiple scrum teams
• The candidate will be in Phoenix and should be able to work in person 3 days per week.
• The candidate will be working on the Classic Accounts Receivable platform and will be the primary owner of the Florida remediation tool.
• These platforms run in multiple technology stack including Mainframe, Oracle, and Cloud
• Must be a quick learner, able to understand complex functionality including multiple system interactions
• Must be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, product and engineers located in other regions particularly New York, Phoenix, India and Manila
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate complex business objectives into functional and non-functional features, working closely with engineering to provide the information required for those teams to successfully deliver software products
• Ensure what the team builds is aligned with what is needed to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Lead refinement, and own/prioritize the team’s backlog.
• Execute agile methodologies with collaboration in a dynamic product development environment.
• Maintain the product backlog and ensure user stories are aligned to underlying product outcomes.
• Participate in retrospectives to ensure lessons learned are carried forward in subsequent development activities
• Lead the team in defining what needs to change on the platform to support a particular business feature (impact analysis / approach definition).
• Ensure feature refinement conforms to definition of ready, and acceptance test criteria is completed to definition of done.
• Foster and contribute to a culture of ownership, follow-through, and collaboration by adopting a mindset of doing whatever it takes to make the team successful.
• Identify risks, challenges, opportunities, and business integration needs.
• Enable cross-functional collaboration with relevant teams within the product scope.
• Prioritize and maintain the features backlog consistent with the Outcomes and Product Roadmap and perform story elaboration with the implementation team.
• Work closely with the design and technology teams to develop, test and deliver the defined capabilities and rapidly iterate new solutions.
• Review/demonstrate sprint-related or general functionality with external partners and customers.
• Coordinate communication and facilitates resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the product backlog.
• Create documentation which identifies and highlights gaps in the end user experience from production launches
• Ensure that the appropriate tracking and reporting is in place to monitor performance post launch to evaluate future investment.
• Manage and mentor junior product managers in the team
• Serves as the Subject matter expert for the Florida remediation tool capabilities in the US market and its supported business functions.
• Initiates and completes research and analyses requiring in-depth knowledge of the Triumph platform and regulatory environment for various products strategies to drive product development or improvements.
• Using assessment of market trends and the competitive landscape, makes recommendations for product enhancements for respective or related group of products.
• Considers economics behind products.
• Manages and presents materials for product governance meetings.
• Responds to inquiries and demands from AENB stakeholders across the organization.
• Interacts with clients, regulators, vendors and other industry participants, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have substantial knowledge of core accounts receivables functions such as minimum due, interest, late fees and payment application across different buckets
• Experience in leading corrective actions and operational risk events, financial remediation, implementing long term fix and control enhancements (such as PRSA)
• Must have skills in SQL.
• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management with consistent track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product vision and strategy.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, both within technology and the bank.
• Experience with Agile and scrum software development methodologies is desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to consult with various stakeholders and drive to thorough requirements.
• Experience in writing customer journeys, user stories, features in an easy to understand, non-technical manner.
• Good analytical skills. Shown experience in data analysis and analytical decision-making
• Problem solving, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
• Product management skills, ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Bachelor’s Degree desirable or equivalent experience
• Ability to support or leading large, complex features or products with multiple partners.
• Experience working with rapid and iterative development teams strongly desired
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working on corrective actions and operational risk events
• Experience working on the Florida internal remediation tool
• Strong experience working on implementing controls such as SOX
• Experience working on Gen AI tools to increase efficiency in the Product management organization
Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
