Job Description

Responsibilities

Our CRO (=Revenue!) team is audacious. We inspire our people, customers, partners and
markets to enable their dreams to be realised in collaboration with SUSE.

The successful candidate with join a high performing team of professionals that are sharing our
Open-Source expertise with what we call Integrated Solution Providers. These partnerships
are with companies we, and the industry, commonly referred to as ISVs (Independent Software
Vendors), IHV (Independent Hardware Vendors), MSP (Managed Service Providers) and
Embedded relationships. Depending upon the person and location, you will likely inherit some
existing relationships, but your main focus will be to “hunt” and grow new business.

Accountable for business growth and achieves overall metrics
Drives, supports and influences BU business models, go-to-market strategies, and
sales/marketing initiatives.
Manages complex organizations to achieve results for the customer, partner and SUSE.
Builds lasting, consultative relationships with customer accounts.
Develops, implements and executes the consultative, solution selling capabilities in their
accounts to develop compelling business cases to differentiate and highlight the value of
the company's broad portfolio.

About You
University or Bachelor's degree required
High GSD (Get Stuff Done) mindset – doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Takes action
and has high sense of urgency.
5+ years’ experience in a Technology sales role – quota carrying. Prefer OT
(Operational Technology), Edge, IoT, Solution Selling experience.
Collaboration is at the heart of SUSE's values. Strong and successful collaboration with
and across the entire organisation is a necessity to ensure success.
Industry Acumen – Good understanding of Technology industry companies, vocabulary,
people and conversant on current topics.
Solution Selling - Approaches selling from a business solution perspective to ensure that
company products and services accurately address the client's true business need in
terms of type, scope, level.
Business and Financial Acumen - Exhibits authoritative business and financial acumen
to develop meaningful business recommendations; Understands the portfolio aspect of
the company's products/services and how the businesses work together.
Problem Solving - Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that
ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
C-Level Partnering - Contributes to enduring executive relationships that establish the
company's consultative professionalism and promotes its total solution capabilities at the
highest levels of the client's organization.
