LOCATION: This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our Houston office located at 13101 Northwest Freeway.

PAY RANGE: $95k-$105k/yr

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lexitas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Collections Manager to lead and support our dynamic collections team within our Finance Division. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance Operations, this role is critical to the success of our growing national operation. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily collections process, driving process improvement initiatives, guiding staff development, and collaborating cross-functionally with divisional presidents and sales leaders to ensure billing and collection efficiency across the organization.

Lexitas is a rapidly growing national provider of legal and corporate support services, including court reporting, medical record retrieval, process service, registered agent services, and corporate filings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the collections department in coordination with Finance leadership
  • Provide support and guidance to collections staff on complex transactions and client interactions
  • Lead efforts to improve AR collections by implementing standardized processes and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting on key collection metrics and A/R aging
  • Collaborate with divisional and corporate leaders to align collection strategies with company goals
  • Resolve billing disputes professionally while reducing delinquency rates
  • Set and monitor team and individual goals while providing performance feedback and coaching
  • Assign tasks, schedule workloads, and manage team outputs to meet department targets
  • Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests from senior leadership

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of personnel
  • Experience improving processes and implementing change management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently managing complex assignments

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in collections, preferably handling high invoice volumes and client interactions
  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience within a collections or finance team
  • Legal services industry experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with multi-functional and multi-geography operational environments

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is a supervisor position.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
