Job Description:

The Role

The purpose of the Sr Manager, HR Data Analytics & Insights is to support our efforts around reporting and analytics, as well as managing critical project work related to our strategy. You will assess current reporting capabilities and tools to establish & implement a roadmap focused on deeper workforce analytics, streamlined/automated reports, as well as overall workforce insights. In this role you will use your expertise and insights to diagnose, implement and consult on workforce trends. You will also work closely with other members of the HR team and Enterprise HR to drive key strategic initiatives in support of key business strategies and goals.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience

  • Experience in data analysis, advanced reporting or similar quantitative activities

  • Experience combining large data sets from various sources to aggregate and analyze

  • Ability to build automated, repeatable dashboard and analysis using Tableau or equivalent software

  • Microsoft Office expertise required, particularly with Excel and Powerpoint

  • Experience with data management tools such as SQL, Tableau, Alteryx

  • Familiarity with HR data sources such as workforce data lake, talent and learning data a plus

  • Excellent presentation, communication, organization and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrable track record of building executive ready reports/presentations that effectively tell the story

  • A curious and confident learner who asks good questions and looks for innovative solutions to improve partnerships and work products

  • You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality, and a high degree of expertise with detailed processes and data

  • You have an ability to analyze and summarize large quantities of complex, confidential information into impactful insight by senior leaders

  • Your ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent objectives or activities while meeting deadlines

  • You are a collaborative, self-motivated and proactive teammate, who organizes data and builds reports that answer key anticipated question

  • Research, capture and analyze HR data on weekly, monthly, quarterly or ad hoc basis

  • Conduct and present insightful analyses on major trends, challenges and opportunities and build clear and effective visualizations (dashboard, metrics and PowerPoint presentations)

  • Use variety of HR systems, tools and practices to fulfill data requests; build standard and custom executive ready reports and help to tell the story

  • Conduct frequent audits of HR data and processes

  • Assist and advise with HR team on ad hoc requests as well as establishing self-service options

  • Simplify and document HR processes to improve efficiency and results

  • Respond to day-to-day reporting and analytics priorities while still making progress on project work

On the HR Strategy, Operations and Analytics team within Workplace Investing (WI) Human Resources, we are responsible for driving innovation across the HR function as well as overseeing business and workforce planning including the WI HR multi-year plan, reporting and analytics and special projects.
