Job Summary
The STEPS Administrative Assistant will assist in the daily operations of the Leave Administration office. The Leave Administration office processes:
- Family Medical Leave applications
- Paid parental/eldercare awards
- Workers compensation claims
- Long term disability claims
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing direct customer contact for FML Programs
- Provide assistant to departments, employee and providers regarding University procedures

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
All basic computer (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), ability to learn SAP, and possibly some 3rd party systems as well.
Customer service skills.
A strong understanding of highly confidential data and HIPAA compliance.
