Job Summary

UK Innovate is seeking a STEPS Marketing and Communications Manager. This position will execute a comprehensive and technology-intensive communication and marketing plan for UK Innovate areas (Ecosystem, Health Care Innovation, R&D Partnerships, Technology Commercialization and TRUST Hub).

Some responsibilities may include:
  • Create a strategic message and content for brand development and promotion
  • Forecast and establish internal and external communication strategies to engage stakeholders Develop, initiate and manage overall media strategy -including customized, targeted electronic communications in support of strategic UK Innovate initiatives.
  • Manage and update UK Innovate websites, digital media and social media – including facilitation of regular review and updates.
  • Perform strategy, logistics and execution of all UK Innovate events and conferences to maximize stakeholder engagement, including roadshows (internal and around region)
  • Support collaborations with UK Innovate’s strategic partners on joint events
  • Preparing and managing event operational budget and resources, including preparing and executing contracts with vendors, speakers, and sponsors.
