Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of groundskeeping personnel, including scheduling, task assignment and performance evaluation. • Provide training and guidance to grounds staff on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation. • Plan and implement landscaping and grounds improvement projects in collaboration with campus leadership. • Monitor and maintain campus grounds including lawn care, landscaping, tree trimming, irrigation systems, and seasonal clean-up. • Respond promptly to weather-related emergencies (e.g., snow removal, storm damage) and coordinate appropriate action to ensure safe access to school facilities. • Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify hazards, maintenance needs, or areas for improvement. • Collaborate with other departments for event setup, special projects, and campus beautification efforts. • Maintain and operate groundskeeping equipment ensuring proper usage, safety, proper storage and servicing (e.g., mowers, blowers, tractors). • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment such as mulch, fertilizer, tools, and safety gear; coordinate procurement as needed. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, staff schedules, and equipment usage. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or certification in horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in grounds maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping techniques, irrigation systems and ground maintenance equipment. • Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (e.g., mowers, tractors, snow blowers). • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., work order systems, email, spreadsheets). • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor • Valid driver’s license. • Occasional evening or weekend work for special events or emergency response. &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in pesticide application or turf management. • Familiarity with college operations and safety protocols.

Job Summary
Maysville Community and Technical College seeks a Student Support Specialist to work within the Student Support Services (SSS) TRiO grant. SSS supports first-generation, low-income, and/or disabled students to retain, succeed, and graduate. This position will be at the Maysville and Licking Valley Campus. This is a full-time, 12-month, TRIO Grant-funded position, and reports to the Director of Student Support Services. The Counselor is responsible for serving students on multiple campuses and will work regularly with students for the purpose of career, personal, and academic advising.




Job Duties:
Coordinate participant assessments. Develop Student Success Plan with participants and advise a caseload of participants. Collect and analyze participant data to support project evaluation. Coordinate success workshops. Coordinate transfer advising services and college transfer visits. Assist with financial literacy services. Work with staff/faculty to coordinate disability services. Provide career services. Oversee project academic tutoring, coordinating, training, supervising, and evaluating Peer Tutors. Develop and improve the academic and career guidance and counseling plan for a college. Lead transfer advising services and coordinate college transfer trips. Work with civic, professional and business groups as appropriate, represents college and KCTCS educational opportunities.




Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or higher in Education, Counseling, or related field Two years’ experience in instruction and/or student services in higher education Demonstrated understanding of high-need students’ academic barriers Excellent communication skills Strong technology skills&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s
