This position is responsible for collecting and resolving active customer accounts that have become delinquent. This position reports to the Collections Supervisor. This individual will primarily interact with delinquent customers, third party references or contacts, and repossession agencies assigned to recover vehicles on delinquent accounts. This individual also interacts internally with other AN Finance department in the course of arranging repossessions, delinquency management, and loss (charge off) administration. The successful candidate is self-directed in work prioritization and demonstrates superior judgment-making ability within the scope of the position’s areas of responsibility. Collaborating with the TCSPP Office of Sponsored Programs and other faculty in identifying and writing grants for external funding for scholarly or educational programs that support the counselor education department.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Institutional Service (12%)<ul><li>Consult on the development and maintenance of a high quality clinical mental counseling health program consistent with CACREP standards.</li><li>Participate in interviewing prospective applicants.</li><li>Participate in new student orientation.</li><li>Participate in ongoing program development and continuous program assessment with other CMHC program faculty.</li><li>Participate in the Counselor Ed. department meetings.</li><li>Assist in the oversight of records management as needed.</li><li>Actively take ownership in gatekeeping function and supporting standards of professionalism articulated in the student handbook.</li></ul></li></ul>Position Qualifications:<ul><li>Doctorate in Counselor Education &amp; Supervision conferred by August 2023.</li><li>Prefer a candidate experienced with addictions, including Motivational Interviewing.</li><li>Clinical supervision experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience teaching in a graduate counseling program.</li><li>Prefer demonstrated success in teaching and supervising fieldwork setting.</li><li>Licensed as a LPC or LPC-Supervisor in Texas or willingness to pursue licensure in Texas.</li><li>Appreciation of innovation and creativity as a counselor educator.</li><li>Evidence of cultural humility and an appreciation for social justice and multi-cultural competencies and evidence of support for these in approach to teaching, supervision, and your commitment to decolonizing counselor education and the counseling profession.</li><li>Experience teaching career, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and/or ethics a plus.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; BenefitsThis opportunity is budgeted at $$70,890 - $82,000 base compensation.
