POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for tracking and assisting students by providing holistic services from pre-enrollment to completion for a defined set of students with a primary goal of assisting them with overcoming barriers to their success in college.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Build relationships with students to achieve their identified goals and objects. Review student progress and track student use of academic support services. Assist students in identifying factors that contribute to lack of academic progress, help students examine alternatives, and apply appropriate retention strategies to support students’ efforts. 50%&nbsp; A. Create instructional materials and laboratory experiences and teach courses at a variety of times in response to institutional needs, evaluate students’ progress toward achievement of stated student learning outcomes and inform them in a timely manner of their progress in the course, contribute to management of labs, and equipment, develop or update course syllabi for courses within the college guideline and curriculum as necessary to remain current with the industry, reviews, evaluates, and recommends student learning materials.&nbsp;
20% B. Responsible for professional development and institutional service as determined in consultation with the Department Head. Work with other faculty, staff, and local industries and organizations to continually refine and improve the Civil and Construction Engineering program. Such duties to be performed include: developing new course materials or courses as required to maintain program currency in emerging technologies in the field of Civil and Construction Engineering, and the development of coursework associated with it; completing assessment requirements relative to the program; engaging members of an active advisory board; participate in evaluating and preparing articulation agreements and prior learning assessments.
10% C. Provides access to students through posted office hours, electronic communication, and other appropriate methods, serve on internal and external committees for the College and the community at large. Work with Workforce and Community Development department to develop workforce solutions within the area of Civil and Construction Engineering.
10% D. Involvement in assessment and ATMAE accreditation process, writing grant proposals related to program goals and objectives, as well as participating in grant activities

ResponsibilitiesHowmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a CNC Operator V for the Fullerton, CA site. Plant Sales Representative - Plant 5

ResponsibilitiesThis off-shift Jr. Development Technician will be located in our Research and Development Center and will have primary responsibility for breakout, finishing, assembly and visual inspection of prototype patterns. Compiles specific documents and records.&nbsp; Provides feedback regarding work instructions as appropriate.&nbsp;Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.&nbsp; Performs other duties as assigned. Must be able to work overtime during the week and/or weekends as required.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.</li><li>Minimum of two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience. &nbsp;</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.&nbsp; Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.&nbsp; Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Good visual skills.</li><li>Quality conscious.&nbsp;</li><li>Meticulous with respect to details.&nbsp;</li></ul>About us﻿Howmet Aerospace Inc.
