Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Operations Lead to provide operations oversight to facilitate groundbreaking system demonstration research at the High Temperature Testing Facility (HTTF) at the Proving Ground located at Central Facilities Area, CFA-686. Normal schedule is a 4x10 schedule with every Friday off, however, occasional off-normal schedule support is expected as necessary.&nbsp; You will oversee and interface with Facilities and Site Services (F&amp;SS) staff to provide support to a 10 MW multi-bay test facility, dedicated to testing pre-commercial scale high temperature solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC) to demonstrate the cost-effective production of hydrogen. You will be responsible for safe and efficient facility and research operations aiding in research activities to advance novel technology. Description Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a well-qualified Postdoctoral Associate in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field for the Decision Sciences Department. Intelligence Analyst

Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Computer Security Data Scientist to work on our Cyber R&amp;D team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.&nbsp; Apply mathematics, statistics, logic, and computer science to derive insights and conclusions from large data sets. Design, develop, and test algorithms and software-based analytical tools to operationalize those algorithms, using artificial intelligence, machine-learning, and other techniques. Adapt machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to solve scientific problems and to extract new insights from scientific data. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers. Responsibilities Include: Analyze data and generate results in response to data analytics, visualization, and modeling needs on a variety of computational architectures (cloud, on-premises, edge-based). Apply advanced technologies, such as Explainable Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Large language models (LLMs), physics-informed machine learning process-informed Machine Learning, systems performance analysis, and/or data sensor fusion methodologies. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers on challenging work scope. Demonstrate effective research skills and the ability to collaborate and partner with other government agencies, academia, and private sector companies to achieve project objectives. Publish results of research and development in a mix of refereed publications and conference proceedings. Work effectively with other research teams to develop and manage cross-cutting technical programs for a variety of customers. Develop and maintain notebooks, software, and/or applications. Work with software and database developers to develop, test, and deploy software code to development, staging and production environments. May develop software for custom solutions, including but not limited to, 3D visualization tools, paralleled software, batch scripting and web api interaction/development. Analyze data quality, characterize, and communicate data quality issues to data providers, and design repeatable data processing procedures to accurately analyze data in the presence of quality issues. Work with domain experts to understand the scope and limits of questions that can be answered by data sets, identify key data features as inputs to analysis, and design output metrics that elegantly describe system attributes and behavior. Employ specialized methods and state-of-the-art data analysis and modeling tools to support the INL's mission by ensuring the nation’s safe, competitive, and sustainable use of engineered systems in many domains by applying capabilities to impactful issues in risk, reliability, and operational performance. Adhere to INL policies and lab-wide procedures related to software development, cybersecurity, and management of sensitive information and data. Work with data providers, database administrators, and software developers to diagnose and solve problems with data and software systems quickly and effectively. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in data science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, autonomy, artificial intelligence, or related technical discipline.</li><li>Level 3: Bachelors and 5, Masters and 2&nbsp;</li><li>Level 4: Bachelors and 9 masters and 6 </li><li>Relevant experience commensurate with level.</li><li>Experience in data science, data analysis, and software development using Python, C#, Java, or C++,&nbsp;or Rust.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.&nbsp;</li></ul> Preferred Experience:&nbsp; <ul><li>Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li>Experience with GPU acceleration and parallel computing</li><li>Experience with data science packages and ML model deployment&nbsp;</li></ul> Job Information:&nbsp; <ul><li>The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($93,204-$191,076) / Level 4($111,888-$229,284 ).
