As part of the NASCAR IMPACT platform, the Manager develops and implements racing-themed STEM programs that engage NASCAR target audiences while building strong connections to the sport.&nbsp;Duties include but are not limited to: <ul><li>Evangelize NASCAR’s pursuit and embodiment of ‘STEM Excellence’ as a core pillar of the company’s NASCAR IMPACT platform.</li><li>Provide day-to-day oversight of NASCAR’s evolving STEM strategy, including curriculum integration, in-school activation, digital experiences, special events and more.</li><li>Work with NASCAR Official Partners to build and implement collaborative STEM programs that achieve shared company objectives and expand the sport’s footprint in the space.</li><li>Build productive relationships with education partners, school districts and other related stakeholders around the development of NASCAR-themed STEM programs and experiences.</li><li>Manage STEM initiatives that help drive the mission of Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of America, NASCAR’s Official Youth Community Partner, and engage Club youth across the country.</li><li>Build and implement career-focused NASCAR STEM programming that builds awareness for and connection to STEM workforce opportunities in motorsports.</li><li>Support NASCAR’s employee engagement and volunteer strategies via oversight of STEM-connected opportunities and integrations.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead cross-functional planning and execution of at-track and/or in-market STEM events and activations, including on race weekends.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with colleagues across STEM or STEM-adjacent departments such as Design &amp; Development, Safety Innovation, Broadcast Production, Analytics &amp; Insights, Gaming, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage measurement and evaluation related to NASCAR’s STEM platform and the pursuit of impact-driving KPIs; help plan and assemble the annual NASCAR IMPACT Report.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify content and storytelling opportunities that communicate NASCAR’s STEM value proposition, the integral role of partners, and positive impact on community stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to additional focus areas of the NASCAR IMPACT platform including sustainability, community engagement and volunteerism.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with planning materials, measurement strategies, activation recaps, internal communications, etc.</li><li>Travel: 20%, including weekends</li></ul>Required skills / experience: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in STEM education, partnership marketing, youth programming, or nonprofit account management.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder programs and deliver measurable results.</li><li>Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.</li><li>Comfortable presenting to both internal leadership and external partners.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with digital learning tools or CRM systems is a plus.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 20%, including select race weekends. ​</li></ul>Apply Now!Learn more about this role and our team by applying at <a href="http://www.careers.nascar.com" target="_blank">www.careers.nascar.com</a> for consideration.We are a company unlike any other.
