Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?<h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Optimizes performance and scalability of critical data pipelines</li><li>Develops reusable and parameterized pipeline components and templates</li><li>Performs analysis and support to Data Scientists for model development</li><li>Designs pipeline architectures and ETL processes using big data technologies to support business initiatives</li><li>Collaborates with stakeholders to elicit pipeline requirements and identify improvement opportunities</li><li>Utilizes data ingestion capabilities to ingest and preprocess data from various sources, designed and optimized</li><li>Troubleshoots and resolves issues with production pipelines</li><li>Ensures data pipeline continuity and integrity through testing and change management</li><li>Contributes to data dictionary and data mapping from sources to the target from SCIM Data Model</li><li>Design and develop Data-as-a-Service solutions to improve data consumption</li><li>A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics/ Mathematics or equivalent STEM major</li><li>Five or more years of experience in data processing large data sets, hands-on with data transformation, aggregation, and filtering.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in writing queries using SQL, PROC SQL or PL/SQL</li><li>Three or more years of using Python and/or R for data manipulation and integration.</li><li>Experience in creating dashboards and visual reporting using Power BI, SAS Viya, Tableau, Palantir</li><li>Knowledge of relational database systems and concepts</li><li>Experience with SAP HANA, SAS EG, Palantir</li><li>Experience in creating ETL workflows.</li><li>Experience in process improvement and automation</li><li>Exposure to OLAP systems such as Snowflake or GCP</li><li>Experience with C#, Visual Basic, VBA, batch scripting, Java is a plus.</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>This position’s work mode is&nbsp;hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days, with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
