<p>As a Linux systems administrator II, you will deploy, configure, and secure Linux servers using automation tools and custom-built scripts in physical and virtual environments. You will monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network-connected equipment to ensure optimal functionality while overseeing user accounts, file storage, and security permissions. You will be responsible for the review and enhancement of host security standards— including the analysis of security practices and recommendations for improvements to bolster overall security effectiveness. You will also analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to meet operational requirements.</p><p>In this role, you will develop and test recovery strategies and disaster procedures for server operating systems and their service components. You will collaborate with database administrators and web programmers to optimize deployments and ensure performance and compliance with standards, recoverability, and security.
