Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $20.50.Responsible for the safe operation of an asphalt coater machine.
- Always assists machine operator.
- Loads full rolls of paper on unwind machine.
- Reviews the quality of the paper to make sure quality specifications are met.
- Sets up automatic splicing machine and operating parameters.
- Threads paper and assists operator at web breaks.
- Assists operator to setup and run the printing section.
- Assists in all product changeovers.
- Checks product parameters to make sure production specifications are met.
- Control waste flow to paper baler, operate paper bailer.
- Unloads master rolls from down under equipment, uses overhead hoist to locate rolls at cuffers (1,2,3).
- Perform 5S and housekeeping functions while machine operates.
- Operate a touch screen display and make minor control adjustments to maintain paper tension and asphalt flow.
- Follow safety practices and use required PPE.
