Job Summary

Somerset Community College is seeking an engaging, self-directed individual to serve as a Growth and Engagement Coordinator, primarily serving the Business and Professional Services and Career and Technical Education Divisions and reporting to those respective Deans. The successful candidate will engage students and community stakeholders, providing pertinent program and other information, while aiming to strengthen partnerships and optimize division enrollments. This position will be divided equally between the Somerset and Laurel campuses with travel required within and potentially beyond SCC’s service area.

Job Duties:

• Drive student recruitment and enrollment efforts for assigned and academic divisions.

• Plan and execute on-campus tours and off-campus outreach at local schools and organizations.

• Build strong relationships with high school counselors, industry partners, and community influencers.

• Serve as an expert on program requirements and communicate accurate information to all stakeholders.

• Track, analyze, and report on recruitment data to inform strategic decisions.

• Coordinate industry advisory committees and schedule college personnel engagement opportunities.

• Develop content and collaborate with Marketing on recruitment materials.

• Provide student advising and assist with campus events.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
