Together, we will become the world's leading cancer reference laboratory.Position Summary:The Account Director, LCI Accounts, leads strategic engagement and commercial partnerships across LCI integrated accounts, including specific community oncology practices and health systems. This role provides account management and business maintenance aligned with the NeoGenomics portfolio for those accounts.Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans tailored to each LCI customer for business management and maintenance
  • Manage existing LCI accounts and work with Legal to update agreements as partnerships evolve including LCI upgrades, new instruments, gating training, laboratory services agreements, and more
  • Act as lead for new LCI opportunities surfaced by the field team
  • Shepherd clients through the gating training program, if applicable, to enable independence in case review and release (including but not limited to presenting estimates, managing adherence to contract terms, and coordinating resource planning with the LCI team and client)[CK1]
  • Align internal field teams including sales, medical, digital health, and reimbursement to support account-level tactics in coordination with LCI strategy
  • Train the account and internal NeoGenomics Territory Business Managers on the LCI strategy and how TBMs engage with each LCI client
  • Coach TBMs and OSS on servicing LCI accounts
  • Train LCI account staff on appropriate workflows and workflow automation
  • Create and lead quarterly business reviews with all LCI clients in partnership with sales and key stakeholders
  • Execute and manage performance under existing contracts and identify opportunities for expansion, realignment, or renewal
  • Collaborate with the digital health team to ensure LCI interfaces include NGS testing and newly launched assays
  • Work with the Client Success team to address day-to-day client requests including account updates and LIS user creation to ensure smooth account management and client satisfaction
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all LCI partnership agreements and guide clients and internal teams to adhere to contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Finance, Billing, Legal, local sales, and clients to ensure adherence to contractual and financial obligations and foster strong partnerships to support client success
  • Provide timely insights and updates on account performance, competitor activity, and market dynamics
  • Monitor industry trends, value-based care models, oncology pathways, and reimbursement changes that impact test adoption
  • Share actionable insights with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to refine strategies as needed
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required; Advanced degree preferred
  • 8 or more years of experience in diagnostics, biopharma, or healthcare commercial roles, including national accounts, integrated lab experiences, or strategic partnerships required
  • Previous experience working with complex healthcare ecosystems
  • Experience leading across cross-functional teams, facilitating a high level of collaboration
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare industry laws and regulations (including, but not limited to, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act)
  • Experience working within strict compliance framework
  • Ability to operate in diverse situations
  • Sales success in diagnostics or oncology highly preferred standards
