Job Summary: Work directly with Municipal Utility customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and deliver a positive, high-quality experience that keeps them coming back.


  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by building strong, lasting relationships
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned and unassigned accounts
  • Follow up on Municipal Utility customer inquiries and generate new sales opportunities
  • Prepare and present pricing quotes that meet customer expectations for quality and value
  • Bid jobs and projects based on Municipal Utility customer needs and specifications
  • Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, outreach, and networking
  • Negotiate pricing for high-volume accounts
  • Make occasional deliveries to support Municipal Utility customer needs
  • Partner with the credit team to assist with collections when needed
  • Represent the company at customer events and entertainment opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining strong profit margins
  • Strong sales, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain a professional image with customers and partners
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
  • Working knowledge of company products (or ability to quickly learn)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems (Eclipse experience a plus)
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate margins, discounts, percentages, and measurements
  • Comfortable using standard office equipment and technology
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education.
