Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in accounting. The ideal candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and receipts
  • Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional manner
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable (internship experience is a plus)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
