Candidates who are also qualified to teach one or more of the following are encouraged to apply: Mental Disorder & Criminal Behavior; Mental Health and the Criminal Justice System; Rapid Assessment for Mental Health Counseling Co-Responders; Crisis Intervention for Mental Health Counseling Co-Responders; Substance Use Assessment & Intervention; other courses in the MA Counseling program.Job Requirements:Required qualifications include:• At minimum, Master's Degree in Counseling or related field• Preference for those with experience or expertise in law enforcement and mental health co-response, though relevant experience working with forensic populations will be considered• Ability to teach one or more of the courses listed in the job responsibilities• Teach evening courses in-personPreferred qualifications include:• Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or in Criminal Justice• ABD will be considered• License-eligible in Massachusetts• Experience teaching at the graduate levelAdditional Information:Disability AccommodationsWestfield State University is committed to the full inclusion of individuals with disabilities and will ensure the availability of reasonable accommodations.
