Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Admissions Coordinator II is to provide quality customer service to current and prospective students primarily at the Ft. Campbell campus.
Job Duties:
• Provide excellent frontline customer service (via counter, email, phone, etc.) by responding to student or prospective student inquiries in the area of student services, general financial aid, or student account questions; also to include general information about Military funding/ programs.
• Distribute information regarding academic programs offered. Assist students through the admissions process.
• Data entry in PeopleSoft student database that includes general student records, course-by-course entry for joint services transcripts, and grade entry for AI portal requirements.
• Provide outreach to current and prospective students regarding student services processes.
• Provide clerical support for student advising sessions to include scheduling advising appointments, preparing packets, follow up reminders, and check-in process.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school degree and one year related work experience, or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills/soft-skills, attention to detail, use of technology and communication skills.
• Professional, outgoing personality, and familiar with general student services functions.
• Ability to multi-task in an open office environment and respond to issues and concerns that affect the department, along with other college departments.
