How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

Carilion Clinic is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Hand Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hand Surgery team. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons in a dynamic, high-volume practice serving a diverse patient population.

What We Require:

Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Program or Accredited Physician Assistant Program.

Experience: Clinical experience appropriate to specific practice/ department preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: License or license eligible as an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) as set forth by the state of Virginia. If Nurse Practitioner, license to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.

Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Current PALS/NPR, as required, specific to position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS) as required, specific to position.   

  

Other Minimum Qualifications: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
