Visit our website at http:// www.rheinmetall-arv-us.com FLSA Status: Non-ExemptJob Title: Advanced Quality TechnicianDepartment: Quality Summary The Advanced Quality Technician supports new product/process development and manufacturing through the application of advanced quality techniques. This person will handle multiple projects and tasks throughout product development, product launch and manufacturing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.   • Interacts with Suppliers and Customers on a regular basis.
  • Lead and participate in Corrective / Preventive Action teams to resolve customer, supplier and production concerns.
  • Facilitates audits from customers and third parties.
  • Researches and interprets Engineering Specifications and Mil Standards.
  • Visually Inspects parts for acceptance to customer quality requirements on all conversion lines.
  • Develops Control Plans and inspection check sheets in the electronic ERP system.
  • Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
