-Plan and implement projects based on defined objectives and goals determined by Threat Management leadership;
-Oversee the Agency Incident Response Readiness (AIRR) program staff to ensures project deliverable are met;
-Oversee the cyber asset information toolset;
-Oversee agency incident response training;
-Help define project scope, goals and deliverables;
-Define tasks, required resources, and milestones of the project;
-Allocate project resources and tasks based on availability;
-Create project schedule and timeline;
-Track deliverables and milestones;
-Monitor and report on project progress;
-Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well roadblocks faced;
-Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs;
-Evaluate, assess and report result of project;
-Lead regular project meetings;
-Manage Proofs-of-Concept (PoC) trials for new technology solutions as part of ongoing projects or as independent projects;
-Provide weekly project reports and metrics to key stakeholders;
-Liaise with other city government agencies to facilitate project completion;
-Build and maintain professional contacts with customers, stakeholders, and vendors;
-Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned.


HOURS/SHIFT
Day - Due to the necessary technical duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.

Minimum Qualifications

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to projects and policies required by the particular position; or,

Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

Preferred Skills


The preferred candidate should possess the following: -3+ years project management experience in IT-ITIL, ITSM, PMI certification preferred-Agile and Scrum project development and deployment experience preferred-Self-starter, detail-oriented, reliable, and accountable-Experienced in integrated cybersecurity assessment frameworks and lifecycles, developing and conducting cyber tabletop exercises, Salesforce development including dashboarding and metrics tracking, developing and delivering cyber incident response training and developing Power BI applications-Familiarization with cyber asset information tools-Experienced in working with large and small teams and rapid delivery from prototype to finished product-Business & IT strategy experience-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Knowledgeable of cyber incident handling and response processes-Familiarity of security log management and change control-Experienced in developing cybersecurity policies and standards that align with existing state and/or federal policies.
