Physical Requirements
This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; working in confined spaces; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, and cuts/punctures.
Shift
Primarily day shifts but may vary depending on services to be provided. May include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours, days of week, and location subject to change based on needs of department.
Job Summary
The Amb/Retail Pharmacist Clinical Staff/UKHC will support the Pharmacist Care Manager and other staff helping to support the coordination of immunization, point of care testing programs, and other services provided by the pharmacy. This position will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team providing immunizations and clinical diagnostic services to patients following approved protocols. This position will provide greater access to care for patients and support pharmacy services serving as a pharmacist role model.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Strong clinical skills; knowledge of inpatient drug distribution and dispensing; ability to prioritize; excellent communication skills; a “team” mentality; desire to teach; and motivation are required to excel in this position.

Preferred Education/Experience
PharmD and completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency program (or equivalent experience) preferred.
