Physical Requirements

This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.

Shift

Must be available during hours of 7:00am-9:00pm, Monday through Friday, and weekends 8:00am-5:00pm. Shift will also participate in a weekend rotation. Shift to be discussed during interview. Operating hours, location of work, and days of week subject to change based on the growth of the department or locations worked. May include holiday rotations.

Job Summary

Provide patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensure that drug interactions are reviewed.
