The Role:
We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our group as an Analyst of Financial Management & Controls group leading all aspects of billing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible, diligent, and skilled at collaborating successfully while balancing multiple priorities. In addition, the candidate will collaborate closely with the product, finance, accounting, and operations teams to advise on and develop interactive data visualization dashboards that will redefine our reporting processes moving forward.
Supporting the development of new or revised financial management policies and procedures and detailing existing ones
Analyzing client and supplier contracts and implementing accurate set up of billing rules
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all invoices and payment
Researching and resolving sophisticated billing issues applying analytical and reporting tools
Collaborating with cross functional peers and providing outstanding service to them
Adhering to internal controls and working with internal audit to test
Identifying and bringing up issues, which could have significant impact on payables and receivables
Participating in future project opportunities
Supporting team for testing related to the financial management platform improvements.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of financial services industry experience
- A positive and proactive demeanor
- Readiness to engage in teamwork efforts across various groups to achieve the objectives
- Outstanding communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within a tight timeframe
- Strong analytical skills
- Critical thinking skills to understand outstanding process exceptions
- High level of attention to details and organization skills
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft office/Excel, with a proficiency in database management, PIVOT and VLOOKUP’s and PowerBI

The newly approved team will be seamlessly integrated into the dynamic Business Intelligence division, comprised of exceptionally skilled product platform managers within the FCM Trading and Operations group of Capital Markets. This team is poised to play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and delivering support across both internal and external business sectors at Fidelity Institutional (FI) and Fidelity Management Research (FMR). Our core internal customers within the FCM framework encompass a diverse array of segments, including Prime Services, Securities Finance, Fixed Income, Equities, Forex, Equity Origination, and Fidelity Agency Lending. The FCM Financial Management team stands at the forefront of generating and managing all client and product revenue and expense attribution, ensuring unparalleled financial insights. As the product landscape continues to evolve, our team leverages the power of our Oracle data platform, FCMOne, to drive effective data analytics and develop key performance metrics. The base salary range for this position is $66,000-$104,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
