Shift

Mon/Wed 8am-4pm, Tue 8am-4:30pm, Thur 8am-5:30pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm. Lunch is 30 minute break.

Job Summary

The APP functioning within the internal medicine allergy ambulatory setting works in collaboration with, and is an integral member of, a multidisciplinary health care team.

The APP must be certified to see both pediatric and adult patients.

The APP functions primarily in the clinic managing the allergy needs of the identified population and may also work closely with the outpatient testing groups. The APP is generally on a service aligned team and manages the care of the outpatient with the team.

In some instances the APP may have responsibilities for this same patient population in the consultative inpatient setting or serves a resource for the inpatient care team. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education.
