May lift <50 lbsShiftDaysJob SummaryThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) UHS Occupational Medicine works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team in the University Health Service environment.

The APP plays a key role in supporting employee health compliance in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Conduct and provide clinical guidance with occupational and work-related medical evaluations. Participate in the care of worker’s compensation patients and participate in on-call duties including the initial management of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other biological hazards.

The APP needs to have a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education and has a responsibility for ensuring an environment of safe quality care. The APP demonstrates an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency training.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesN/ADoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
