Position Overview
This position supports the Asset Protection Manager by tracking and monitoring all forms of fraud within Texas Roadhouse, Inc. Manages and monitors the fraud solutions in place, and tracks fraud related key performance indicators. This position will maintain regular contact with our fraud solution vendors, collaborating with them and internal partners to understand the efficiency on how the risk assessment solutions are performing. Additionally, follows up on fraud related issues reported from guests and operators by understanding, investigating, and resolving the issue.
Responsibilities
- Recommending anti-fraud processes and optimizes current fraud prevention processes
- Identifying potential process improvements and collaborates with business partners
- Working cross functionally with databased teams to ensure adequate access to data
- Identifying fraudulent activity such as payment fraud, friendly fraud, and theft using third party tools
- Monitoring real time queues, customer, and transactional records to identify unauthorized transactions, fraudulent accounts, and false positives
- Analyzing accounts and transaction patterns to determine existing fraud trends.
- Managing and monitoring risk assessment workflows on an ongoing basis
- Maintaining fraud analysis models to improve efficiency and effectiveness of company systems
- Maintaining confidentiality of all information collected during investigations
- Ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures
- Understanding existing solution design and how/where risk assessments are made
- Supporting and recommending enhancements to operational objectives
- Tracking chargeback rates at the store level to identify those at risk and determines adjustments to the risk assessments
- Identifying system improvements to prevent fraudulent activities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred: Criminal Justice, Business, or related degree. Experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- Experience in Exception Based Reporting and internal investigations preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention to include fraud detection, mitigation, and trend analysis
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred experience in Microsoft Power BI and/or equivalent
- Must have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. Ability to explore and analyze operational data
