Assistant Athletic Director, Broadcast Production

The Assistant Athletic Director of Broadcast Production will be responsible for overseeing all facets of broadcast for Pitt Athletics and the ACC Network. Individual will need to work independently, manage production and event budgets, and oversee multiple full-time staff, freelance operators and students. The individual will report directly to the Senior Associate Athletics Director, Communications.


Job Summary

Plans, administers, and directs a large department or multiple, small departments within Athletics. Interprets and implements strategic direction in assigned departments within Athletics. Conducts ongoing evaluation of programs to ensure compliance with University and department policies, procedures, and regulations.


Essential Functions

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): serving as the lead producer for ACC Network broadcasts; creating broadcast formats, graphics, and feature inserts; and training full-time staff, students, and freelancers.


Physical Effort

Required to be mobile for long periods of time, especially on gamedays.
