Certification – CSCCA (Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association) or the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association). Appropriate licensures would include SCCC, MSCC, or CSCS.

Job Summary
The Assistant Strength Coach will:
- develop and implement athletes’ physical profile
- assist with the daily weight room operations
- assist with football student-athlete accountability and follow-up as directed by the Coordinator of Football Performance and/or Head Football Strength Coach
Other duties include:
- assisting with daily speed, agility, and quickness workouts for student-athletes
- implement daily supplement program for student-athletes
- ensure that the strength and conditioning facility is in proper working order at all times
- responsible for seeking any weight room repair and maintenance.
- This position must ensure proper licenses maintained through either the CSCCA (Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association) or the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association). Appropriate licenses would include SCCC, MSCC, or CSCS.
The Assistant Strength Coach must comply with NCAA, SEC and University rules and policies.
