Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Technology, beginning Fall 2026 (Tenure-Stream)

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology (Tenure-Stream) in the Division of Physical and Computational Sciences, beginning Fall 2026.

Requirements: Ph.D. or ABD (with expected completion by August 2026 if appropriate) in Program or a closely related field, with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Scholarship, advising, and service activities are required. Applied experience within the field of Mechanical Engineering Technology and experience teaching at the university or collegiate level are preferred.

Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to teach twelve credits per semester, in the program at the undergraduate level. Preferred courses may include Materials and Materials Lab, Technical Calculus 2, Technical Differential Equations, and Mechanical Engineering Technology Senior Project Proposal, and Senior Project Design.

Candidates experienced in working with college students from varied backgrounds and who have applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
