Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Recruiting and Operations Coordinator is responsible for support in all aspects of football recruiting and team operations.

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides executive-level administrative support to the Head Football coach, Football Operations Director, and 9 Assistant Football coaches.
  • Provides support for Recruiting Coordinator and Director of Football Operations in regard to official visit weekends
  • Helps execute all candidate campus visits including itineraries, campus tours, photoshoots and coach meetings.
  • Schedule head coach recruiting travel.
  • Manages recruiting databases including academic and athletic profile updates.
  • Executes priority candidate communication from coaching staff.
  • Assists Director of Football Operations with team travel and practice logistics.
  • Serves as senior administrative contact and liaison for internal and external program constituents.
  • Prepares game plans, playbooks, and practice schedules.
  • Coordinates the execution of filming practice and inputting into video system.
  • Supervise student workers.

Working Conditions:

  • Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of related experience. Education beyond high school may count toward experience.

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Suite.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.

  • Standard Hours/Schedule: 35 hours per week

Work Format Details

This position is based on-site at a Harvard campus location. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
