Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Director, 340B Strategy to join the Global Health Systems Analytics team within MAx (Market Access, Pricing and Value Demonstration), based in Princeton, NJ or Washington, D.C. This role supports the development and execution of BMS’s 340B strategy across the portfolio, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment. The Associate Director will work in close partnership with the Director of 340B Strategy, and report to the Executive Director, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, supporting subject matter expertise development, and assisting in stakeholder engagement across legal, policy, and commercial teams. This collaboration is critical to ensure consistency, alignment, and continuity across enterprise-wide 340B efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Director of 340B Strategy to align on strategic priorities, project execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the Executive Director in identifying and refining focus areas for 340B strategy.
- Assist in evaluating current 340B processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain awareness of 340B developments across hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers, and manufacturers.
- Prepare materials and updates for the 340B Working Group and Executive Committee.
- Contribute to execution of approved 340B-related projects, from planning through implementation.
- Support good faith inquiries and audit responses in collaboration with Legal and Compliance.
- Help develop and deliver 340B education and training sessions across the organization.
- Collaborate with Legal, BI&T, MAx, USPGA, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Assist in analytics, business practice updates, and external communications related to 340B.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital enablement in pricing operations.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess 340B program compliance and identify risk areas, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS preferred; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MPA) a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally in market access, pricing, or policy.
- 10+ years of experience working with the 340B program, including strategic, operational, or compliance roles.
- Familiarity with 340B program dynamics and US healthcare policy.
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, policy, and commercial teams.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex regulatory information and present it clearly.
- Exposure and willingness to use digital tools and process automation (e.g., RPA, workflow tools) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Experience conducting financial analysis to support compliance and operational decision-making is strongly preferred.

Compensation Overview:
Princeton - NJ - US: $157,030 - $190,282 
Washington DC - US: $157,030 - $190,282
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
