Summary

The primary focus of this strategic role is to drive alignment with corporate objectives through three crucial pillars: unifying the Trial Delivery Support (TDS) organization and streamlining ways of working, bringing a best-in-practice mindset to objectives execution in TDS, and establishing TDS alignment to support the Global Development Operations (GDO) vision of delivering medicines to patients faster. This position reports directly to the President of Trial Delivery Support and provides key support to the TDS leadership team 1.

Description

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the TDS Leadership Team, driving the execution of priorities and alignment across functions 2.
  • Provide strategic planning and analysis, including the development of roadmaps, key performance indicators, tracking of strategic objectives, and financial representation of budgets and headcount across various functions within Trial Delivery Support 3.
  • Orchestrate leadership operations, including leadership team meetings, governance, communications, and organizational planning, ensuring clarity and accountability 4.
  • Lead the coordination of forums, town halls, and engagement initiatives to strengthen culture and connectivity across TDS 5.
  • Develop key communications, plans, and visual metrics to enable the leadership team to communicate with key stakeholders across Global Development Operations 6.
  • Champion efficiency and consistency by standardizing processes, developing playbooks, and tracking KPIs and success factors 7.

Responsibilities

  • Drive leadership team meeting cadence, including agendas, minutes, follow-ups, and action tracking 8.
  • Manage trackers for organizational charts, hiring/promotion/travel, functional roadmaps, and quarterly objectives 9.
  • Lead the preparation of decision briefs, pre-reads, and reporting for leadership team governance 10.
  • Oversee communication platforms (SharePoint, Viva Engage) and deliver forums, town halls, and coffee chats 11.
  • Partner with the leadership team to define KPIs, track success factors, and measure strategic impact 12.
  • Build and maintain standardized meetings, planning, and communications 13.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in strategic operations, program management, or Chief of Staff roles, with a proven ability to translate strategy into execution 14.
  • Strong foundation in governance, communications, and cross-functional leadership across global teams 15.
  • Skilled at balancing competing priorities, ensuring follow-through, and fostering organizational alignment 16.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at tailoring messaging for diverse audiences and leaders 17.
  • Experienced in developing KPIs, dashboards, and process improvements to enhance decision-making and business impact 18.
  • Recognized for collaborative leadership, discretion, and influencing without authority 19.
  • Travel Requirements - as needed up to 20%.

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $166,340 - $201,561 


The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
