Physical Requirements

Physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: running, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, sitting on the floor getting up and down from the floor, and equipment.



Shift

Monday-Friday; primarily in the afternoons. Does include some weekends depending on athletic schedule.



Job Summary

Step into a rare opportunity at the crossroads of sports medicine and athlete development. This position puts you at the heart of supporting high-potential youth athletes while gaining hands-on experience with the demands of professional-level care.



You’ll collaborate directly with coaching staff and high-performance professionals to design and deliver research-driven care strategies and performance initiatives that truly impact athletes’ growth and success.



The role includes weekly practice and game coverage (Monday–Friday, with weekend coverage as scheduled), ensuring athletes stay healthy, resilient, and ready to perform at their best.



As part of UK HealthCare, you’ll be integrated into a nationally recognized sports medicine team that includes board-certified orthopedic surgeons, specialists, and industry leaders. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ability to accurately evaluate physical readiness of athletes; the ability to determine effective treatments for athletic related injuries; the ability to work with students; basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
