Babies Can't Wait is to provide early identification and screening of children with developmental delays and chronic health conditions birth to three year s­of-age; to improve the developmental potential of infants and toddlers with developmental delays or chronic health conditions; to support family member and caregivers to enhance children's learning and development through everyday learning opportunities.

All Coastal Health District, County Health Department employees are deemed essential employees in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event not limited to but including, staffing a shelter, a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or Point of Dispensing site (POD). When you are called on to participate, you are expected and it will be a part of your job requirement to participate, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.

Job Responsibilities

Trains and supervises all BCW Special Instructors and licensed providers with the BCW program; Leads the Primary Service Provider meetings for all PSP Teams in the district and enters payment for all PSP team meetings; Assists with monitoring, assessing, and evaluating BCW program/ providers to determine compliance with state/federal guidelines; Completes fiscal audit; Monitors project SCEIS records; Monitors service provision and documentation; Completes chart reviews; Leads LICC meetings;

Additional duties include: Completes Developmental evaluations; Processes BCW reports and assists with contracts; Attends required BCW trainings; Function as a team player; Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of job-related experience, which includes one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Prgm Coord 2 (SSP031) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions require eligibility for licensure

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with Babies Can't Wait or out of state Early Intervention program.
Bilingual – Spanish/English.
