Position Purpose

We’re looking for a talented BI Developer to join our team and help shape our analytics ecosystem. You’ll design and build impactful reports and dashboards using tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, work with diverse data sources (including CSV files during proof-of-concept phases), and partner with our global IT function to establish best practices. If you’re adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about turning data into insights, this role is for you.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud or salesforce.com
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare and integrate data from multiple systems for reporting.
  • Leverage your understanding of relational databases and data lakes to ensure data is structured and accessible.
  • Build proof-of-concept reports with a “scrappy” approach, using CSV file backends and iterating quickly based on feedback.
  • Work closely with our global IT function to define and implement best practices for data management and back-end systems.
  • Partner with global IT to identify challenges, troubleshoot issues, and co-develop solutions that enhance our analytics capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud or comparable BI platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data lakes (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, SAP BW, Oracle Database, Snowflake).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work creatively with imperfect data sources, like CSV files, during proof-of-concept stages.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with fuzzy match methodologies using python (Levenshtein-based, Jaro-Winkler, Soundex or other approaches.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Comfortable in an in-person office environment
  • Technical competence is a plus
  • Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
  • Must have excellent follow-through skills
  • Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
  • Must be open to domestic and international travel
  • Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
