The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Billing Specialist 2 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Department of Administration Services

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, plans, organizes and manages the operation of the billing functions such as preparation and distribution of invoices, third party payers, preparing claims and posting cash receipts. Analyzes complex billing data and prepares reports for revenue and expenses and other statistical data.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of job- related experience in accounting, billing, or budget services; or One (1) year of job-related experience at the lower level Billing Spec 1 (FIP070) or equivalent position.

Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in critical and/or unexpected situations involving moderate risk to the organization.
