Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical imaging equipment such as MRI, CT, and Ultrasound machines.
- Document service performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess equipment performance and reliability.
- Provide troubleshooting support and technical assistance for medical imaging systems.
- Assist in developing and implementing equipment management programs.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in biomedical engineering.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies, including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and engineering teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to successfully clear a Tier-1 (Public Trust) background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid biomedical equipment technician certification (e.g., CBET).
Travel Requirements
Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
