As our Booking Intern, you’ll spend the 2025–2026 NBA season supporting the coordination and execution of events at the Rose Quarter. This internship offers hands-on experience in venue scheduling, event documentation, and booking operations. You’ll assist with calendar management, data tracking, contract and form processing, and post-show reporting—all while learning how large-scale events are brought to life through cross-functional collaboration. About the Internship:
- Internship Duration: August 26,2025 to April 24, 2026, with the potential for an extension.
- Part-time Commitment: Expect to work an average of 28 hours per week.
- Location: Portland, Oregon; this is an on-site role, not remote.

As our Booking Intern, you will:
- Assist with internal scheduling tasks including event alerts, game day room requests, practices, and venue-wide activity coordination.
- Support the booking team by entering and maintaining key event data and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Help with preparing forms, contracts, and correspondence related to venue bookings and community events.
- Contribute to post-show reporting by compiling and organizing event data and documentation.
- Track and upload necessary documents while helping maintain organized digital files and booking records.
- Assist with research into prospective event opportunities and industry trends to support future bookings.
- Participate in internal meetings and scheduling discussions to better understand the end-to-end event booking process.
- Shadow booking team members observe communications with promoters, agents, and internal stakeholders.

- Are at least 18 years of age.
- Are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field—or have relevant experience.
- Are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn the ins and outs of booking and scheduling for a multi-venue complex.
- Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Are available to work a flexible schedule, which could include office hours, Trail Blazers home games, and evening/weekend responsibilities.
