Department:

The Network & Acquiring Solutions team at American Express powers global payments, working across business units and with key industry stakeholders. We tackle critical challenges like securing online transactions and driving innovation in payment solutions.

The Network & Acquirer Solutions team is modernizing our payments network with products like Debit, QR, Tokenization and Account to Account payments, enabling expansion into new markets, customer acquisition, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

As a Business Architecture Senior Manager for Network and Acquirer Solutions you will define the future business capabilities of the Payments Network in GMNS. You’ll work with business partners to understand strategic goals, analyze the associated business capabilities, and determine opportunities for re-use or transformation. You’ll solve complex problems, assess alternative solutions, and design innovative deliverables that align with strategic goals. You’ll also build relationships across teams, influence stakeholders, and present insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

·Collaborate with business partners to define scope, value, and strategic alignment of priorities.

·Lead transformational initiatives, enhancing and introducing new network capabilities.

·Present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership.

·Provide consultancy on network ecosystems, capabilities, and discovery best practices.

·Deliver solutions with business and technology partners.

Qualifications:

·Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

·Business Process Modelling, data & insight analysis

·Excellent communication and ability to elicit and translate business needs into technical requirements

·Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly articulate complexities

·Strong collaboration, presentation and influencing skills

·Proven experience driving results in a global environment

·Experience in business architecture, business transformation and Agile frameworks would be preferred.

·Payments industry and Business Architecture experience is preferred but not essential.

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
