This position works with all units in the Office of Health Analytics and with staff across HPA and OHA by serving in a system administrator role for the DRTS (Data Request Tracking System) database information system, which is used by HPA to maintain a centralized repository of data requests and reports delivered by HA / OHITAI research teams to internal and external customers and for tracking active Health Analytics data and work requests. In this role, this position will lead and coordinate DRTS database system day-to-day maintenance and operational support, including access control processes, system enhancement and testing processes, system support and training processes and activities, and communication to DRTS end-users.

This position will also work as a business and data analyst to support business improvement and IT improvement efforts and modernization projects. In this role, the incumbent will analyze, evaluate, identify, recommend, plan, and lead or help coordinate the implementation of data management and reporting IT solutions, as well as business process and policy improvements within HA, working in collaboration with IDEA team members, and HA / OHITAI research and reporting teams.

This position is part of the IDEA (Infrastructure for Data Engagement and Access) team, representing a new way of communicating information to users. This position requires solid communication and analytical skills. The person in this role will have a good attention to detail and the ability to communicate that detail to staff throughout OHA.

The AA Salary Range for this position is between $5,325.00 to $8,148.00 per month.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification

Special Requirements: To be hired, you must have a criminal record and check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment.

Experience managing and maintaining database information systems, including access control, system enhancements, testing, support, and training.

2. Business and Data Analysis Expertise
Ability to analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements for data management, reporting IT solutions, and business processes.

Capability to clearly communicate technical details and processes to diverse stakeholders across multiple teams and departments.

4. Attention to Detail
Precision in managing data, tracking requests, system maintenance, and documenting processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

5. Collaboration and Teamwork
Proven ability to work effectively with various units, including research teams, IDEA team members, and staff across HPA and OHA.

6. Project Coordination and Leadership
Experience leading or coordinating system maintenance, operational support, process improvements, and modernization projects.

  • Must be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and have flexibility, work demand tolerance and exhibit written and oral communication skills including effective communication with coworkers.
