Become a part of the team behind the team.

As employees of the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter, we do more than basketball. We are blazing trails toward winning championships on and off the court.

We are pioneers and innovators. We look for people who push boundaries, who dream, who are committed to inclusivity – who want to contribute to Rip City!

As our Campaign Project Manager, you’ll help bring our biggest ideas to life—on time, on budget, and on point. This role supports the execution of high-impact marketing campaigns across the organization, from brand storytelling and tune-in to retail initiatives and fan engagement efforts. You’ll ensure that every campaign and initiative ladders up to our brand position and company filters.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy & Campaigns, this role is the glue that keeps projects moving. You’ll coordinate cross-functional tasks, manage campaign timelines and assets, support the development of creative briefs, and ensure everyone—from Creative to Content to Fan Development—knows what needs to happen and when.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for sports, entertainment, or fan culture. If this sounds like a match for your skills and goals, we encourage you to apply by August 8th!

DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day execution of assigned campaigns, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Maintain and update campaign calendars, project trackers, and status documents to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Schedule and facilitate campaign working sessions and checkpoints; document decisions and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Content, Game Operations, Fan Development and Brand Impact teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery of assets.
  • Support the development of campaign briefs—especially for mid-sized or department-specific initiatives—under the guidance of the Senior Director.
  • Coordinate and allocate internal marketing assets across all company campaigns including platforms such as television, radio, digital, in-arena and campus signage.
  • Monitor progress and help remove roadblocks to keep projects on schedule.
  • Organize campaign wrap-ups and help capture post-campaign learnings.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

• Have 3–5 years of experience in marketing coordination, campaign project management, or creative operations.

• Are exceptionally organized and enjoy bringing structure to fast-moving, creative environments.

• Communicate clearly, proactively, and effectively—both in writing and in meetings.

• Are comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.

• Have experience working with creative teams, brand marketing, or content production (sports/entertainment industry is a plus).

• Are familiar with project management tools like Asana, Monday, or Airtable (or quick to learn).

• Thrive in a collaborative, team-first environment where no task is too small.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:

  • Like being the person who keeps everyone on task and nothing overlooked.
  • Are energized by turning ideas into action and concepts into campaigns.
  • Take pride in being a steady, reliable presence amid shifting deadlines or feedback rounds.
  • A communicator and collaborator that seeks solutions.
  • Care deeply about the fan experience and want to help bring Rip City to life in new ways.
