Job Summary
The Capital Project Management department at the University of Kentucky is seeking a licensed design professional to fill the role of Campus Planner Senior.
The Campus Planner Senior:
- conducts, coordinates, analyzes, and assists with the development of an integrated planning model for the university (exclusive of UK HealthCare) consistent with and to maintain the campus master plan
- guides planning efforts within their area of expertise, such as land use
- facilitates studies
- completes data acquisition/analysis
- develops programmatic requirements for planning initiatives
- provides elevated leadership and independent judgment on cross-campus planning work
- represents Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) in institutional planning discussions
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Windows/Office; Presentation Software; SAP
Drivers License — Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of site planning, urban design, landscape design, sustainability, ADA, and other related regulations, capital planning processes, and integrated planning. Ability to thoughtfully create inspiring and sustainable landscapes that perform ecologically, technically, economically, and aesthetically.
